Meet our Keynote Speaker
Robert Coker is Senior Vice President, Public Affairs, of U.S. Sugar. He is responsible for managing the company’s federal, state and local government affairs department and the company’s corporate and charitable giving programs encompassing numerous community and employee relations activities. A member of senior management, Coker also actively participates in corporate matters involving real estate, environmental regulation, budgeting and allocation of capital.
Raised in Gainesville, Fla., Coker lives in Stuart, Florida with his wife, Mendy. They have three grown children: Christopher, Michelle and Melanie and four beloved grandchildren: John and Campbell Coker, Elizabeth and Katherine Black. Robert’s daughter, Michelle, lives in one of Palm Beach Habilitation Center’s group homes and attends day programming at the Center.

Toni May is the Emmy-award winning television journalist who is Founder of May I Media, a boutique creative branding, media training & video storytelling agency.
May has spent decades in local news & public broadcasting. She was the Host & Executive Producer of several shows in the south Florida market and has produced for ABC-NewsOne , WPTV, WPBF and KABC in Los Angeles.
During her 15 years on the air at WXEL-TV, she produced hundreds of stories on a wide range of topics of local interest including health, education, community improvements, environmental issues and politics. Under her leadership, WXEL’s only locally produced weekly show won a regional Emmy Award, a Society of Professional Journalists award, an Associated Press award for Best Public Affairs program in the state and a prestigious NETA Award as Best Lifestyle/Public Affairs show in the nation.
She obtained her degree in Broadcasting from the University of Florida and is a native Floridian. She’s married with two grown children and a rescue pup.
