STEER

Social Training and Employee Enhancement Resources (STEER) provides employment and interpersonal skills training to individuals who are placed in Supported Employment in order to assist them in maintaining and enhancing their employment options.  Program participants come to the Center on their days off in order to improve their computer skills, functional living skills, and transferrable work skills.  This is completed in either the COMPUTER LAB, FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM, or in one of the PRODUCTION AREAS.  Participants also receive opportunities to learn more about employment options and community resources through community integration opportunities with local employers and employment destinations of interest.
