Food Service Training | |  |
The Food Service Training Program provides skills training in a cafeteria setting to prepare participants to work in restaurants type industries. Specific skills include:
bussing tables,
food preparation,
food line service,
cashiering, and
dishwashing.
Participants receive a Safe Food Handling Certificate recognized by the Department of Health. Over 60,000 meals are served ear year to clients served in the day programs, of which 20,000 are provided on a reduced or free basis.
